Case File: Cash Moved Into Platform Float but Looked Like Income

When money moves inside the same business, both asset buckets change. Recording only one side can create a false shortage, overage or profit.

Field-derived caseInternal transferTwo-sided movement
Evidence basisField reconciliation repeatedly required a clean way to distinguish owner/business money moved between physical cash and platform float from customer transactions and outside income.

Why internal money movement needs two sides

A cash-to-wallet top-up reduces physical cash and increases platform value. The business did not earn or lose that principal merely because it changed location.

Control lesson

Post both financial legs with the same transfer ID, then match the source and destination evidence. Leave unmatched transfers open for review. Never use an internal-transfer label with zero effect to hide a real movement.

This case publishes the control principle without customer names, transaction references or proprietary app implementation.
